Nicole Star Castillo, executive vice president and partner of WordHampton Public Relations, has been an integral part of the company since joining in 1997. An expert in both media and client relations, she continues to garner positive publicity for major events, food and beverage products, and lifestyle and hospitality services. Her roster of successful campaigns include: the positioning of an East End vineyard as the premier winery in the newly flourishing wine country on Long Island’s North Fork; the launch of a new, upscale restaurant with Mexican cuisine as the best of its kind on Long Island; and guiding a restaurant through image change while conveying quality and uniqueness of fare to the public.

Castillo graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications with honorable distinction. As a communications and public relations major, she received various honors including: Lambda Pi Eta, National Communication Honor Society; Golden Key National Honor Society and Alpha Chi National Honor Society. Castillo lives in East Hampton, where she was born and raised with her husband, daughter and son.
