Townline BBQ, is located in Sagaponack at the location of the former Alison By the Beach. Owned and operated by Honest Management Company, who operate Nick & Toni’s, Rowdy Hall and La Fondita, Townline BBQ serves BBQ as authentic as BBQ gets! Townline BBQ offers a casual, family friendly atmosphere with affordable prices.

After traveling to Texas and Kansas, owner Mark Smith and executive chef and partner Joe Realmuto decided that authentic Texas BBQ, with a little bit of pork on the menu, was the winning concept for Townline BBQ. Traditionally Texas BBQ features meat smoked with dry rub and no sauce; BBQ sauce is served on the side. Townline smokes their meats – brisket, chicken, pork, Texas link, beef and pork ribs, and serves two housemade sauces on the side. Smoked meats are the focus of the menu with a small section of sides to choose from including: baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, greens, French fries, cornbread and pickles. Customers order at the counter, pick up their BBQ at the pick up counter when their buzzer goes off and either eat-in at one of the tables or take it home. A full bar offers draft beer, wine and cocktails. As well, Saranac root beer is on draft. And they did not forget dessert: southern specialties such as icebox cake, fried cherry pie and banana pudding will be every sweet tooth’s demise.

From the rustic exterior siding made from reclaimed barn wood to the plywood booths, Townline’s décor is simple and unassuming. Wood is the predominant material throughout the space accented by galvanized metal chairs and barstools. A comfortable, unpretentious atmosphere will be sensed upon entering, suggesting customers to "leave their titles at the door." An open kitchen offers customers the ability to see the pit master working the smoker, while aromas waft into the dining room. Wherever possible at Townline BBQ an effort is made to keep it "green." They compost and use the compost to supply local farms. From the paper products to the dishwasher, they are committed to being conscious to the environment. Townline BBQ is open seven days for lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m.
