Speaking of colors, Kathi Cogen changes hers each spring. "During the winter, something hits me and inspires me" regarding the color she uses the following spring to repaint her Montauk store, Haven Home Furnishings. Last year, after a trip to India, she opted to paint the whole store pink, filling it with pink and coral hues. This spring's colors, she said, are arriving courtesy of paint cans filled with blue and green.
