red/bar has risen to the top of the Hamptons restaurant scene since opening its doors in 1998. Executive Chef Erik Nodeland’s modern French/American cuisine received two stars from both The New York Times and Newsday. He has continued to impress diners and critics alike. David Loewenberg, widely regarded as one of the East End’s top restaurateurs, has co-owned red/bar brasserie with business partner Kirk Basnight since 1998. Loewenberg also owns The Beacon restaurant in Sag Harbor since 1999; and co-owns Fresno restaurant in East Hampton with Michael Nolan since 2004.
