Brad Ford is an interior designer who likes to use natural shapes and colors in his clean, bright rooms. But for the mudroom of the 2007 Hamptons Cottages and Gardens Idea House, a show house in Amagansett, N.Y., that opens tomorrow, he took it a step further, by working with bugs. “A mudroom is a portal from the outside,” said Mr. Ford, left. “I wanted to play with that idea, to literally bring the outside in.”
