Dawn Dunn, office manager of WordHampton Public Relations, has been an integral part of the company since Spring 2009. She is responsible for all bookkeeping and initiated a new time tracking system to help WordHampton Public Relations become nimble, efficient and successful.
Dunn currently owns and operates Hampton Bookkeeping Service, which she founded in 2003 and services local businesses on the South Fork. She nurtures her creative side as soapmaker and owner of Hampton Soapworks since in 2001. Her soaps may be found at local stores including The Corner Store in Springs and Gone Local in Amagansett. Dunn also served as executive assistant for The Hampton Classic, one of the country’s largest horse shows for 16 years. She was responsible for bookkeeping, office management, payroll and sponsor, vendor and advertising contracts. Dunn worked for The Inside Address, a secretarial and bookkeeping company, where her duties included typing and proofreading books for local authors including Robert Parrish, Gloria Jones, Irwin Shaw, Arthur Herzog and Betty Friedan. Dunn lives in East Hampton with her two sons.
