In January 2007, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill debuted as the first Long Island branch of the Florida-based restaurant group in Westbury, New York. City Cellar prides itself on serving high quality, innovative, approachable food in a fun, casual and urban setting. Designed on a grand scale, with rich dark cherry woods, lofty ceilings and warm lighting. The most notable feature is the lavish bar backed by a 25-foot-high glass-enclosed wine cellar showcasing over 4,000 bottles. The wine list boasts close to 500 selections, with 40 wines available by the glass or half glass, featuring nightly wine flights.

Executive Chef Chris Randell has created a menu featuring inventive dishes emphasizing the flavors and spices that make cuisine so compelling. Appetizer selections include: Mediterranean hummus dip with grilled pita bread; Calamari fritto misto with poblano, crispy lemon, spicy tomato sauce and aioli and Asian seared rare tuna salad with spinach, crispy onions, mushrooms and creamy ginger dressing. Entrée selections include: Jumbo lump crab cake served pan seared with dill tarter sauce; Crabmeat crusted Chilean sea bass served pan roasted with Yukon Gold potato cake, vegetable fricassee and a lemon herb butter sauce; Lamb shank, braised in two wines with potato puree, fried parsnips, and natural sauce; 12 oz. dry aged New York strip steak with garlicky potato lasagne, market vegetables, crispy onions and a red wine sauce. On the dessert menu you’ll find banana cream doughnuts with vanilla bean gelato and warm chocolate sauce and warm apple strudel with cinnamon gelato and caramel sauce. City Cellar serves lunch and dinner. Lunch is served everyday from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; Dinner is served everyday from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
