Atlantic Skin & Laser Center is a 600-square-foot beauty clinic offering electrolysis, laser hair removal, cellulite reduction treatment and Mystic tanning. The services are offered by appointment Tuesday-Saturday. The Mystic Tan UV-free tanning booth uses a touch-free, spray-on tanning technique that creates an even, natural-looking tan within hours that lasts about a week. Atlantic Skin & Laser Center offers two methods of hair removal – laser hair removal and Electrolysis. Laser hair removal offers permanent hair reduction to specific hair types. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method approved by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). LaserDermology is the first and only FDA-approved, non-surgical cellulite treatment that minimizes cellulite by smoothing and tightening the skin. LaserDermology has also been shown to temporarily relieve minor pain and muscle spasms and improve circulation. As well, it improves post-healing with liposuction, facelifts and botox treatments. They also offer a new eyelash extension service. Eyelash extensions are the new mascara; they look natural and are completely weightless. The application takes about two hours and costs $350. The lashes last as long as your natural eyelashes last, about a month, refills are available every two to four weeks. The lashes are durable and most anything can be done without damaging them - showering, swimming, exercising etc. The only thing you can’t do is get them wet within the first 24 hours, rub your eyes a lot, or use oil-based creams and makeup removers around your eyes.
