Named after the Roman goddess of the harvest, Annona Restaurant is reaping a reputation for exotica since it opened in July 2005. Its modern Italian menu showcases Long Island bounty with Mediterranean touches in a unique location. It sits atop a 16,000 square foot showroom of cars that are the cream of the crop such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Annona is the newest venture of the Rubio family who for 30 years have owned and run Coachworks/Manhattan Motorcars of the Hamptons. It evokes the sophistication of a cosmopolitan hot spot, the sleek style of 21st century Italy and the relaxed atmosphere of the East End.

Polished marble, semi-opaque glass and stainless steel finishes are warmed by wheat-toned walls, diffused lighting, wooden chairs, banquette and seasonal terrace seating. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass rotunda - under which one may sit at the bar overlooking the exotic car showroom below - permit daylight and sunset views.

The seasonal menu showcases bounty from North Fork farms with Mediterranean touches – a liberal use of fine herbs, the best Italian oils and condiments, roasts from a woodburning oven and freshly-made pasta and bread. Menus change daily and are posted to the Annona website www.annona.com.
